Recording stops randomly

I just started using Focusrite 2i2 gen 3 with this, which works very well, except now it will not record past about 1 or 2 minutes. I have turned the silence threshold all the way down and it still does it. Anyone have an idea why??????

Hi! There could be several reasons for this but perhaps we can start with the most common possibilities.

Do you receive any error messages when this happens? Does it happen to ALL recordings?

It has happened the last 3 times I have tried to record. What happens is that the "waveform bar" stops moving and the time stops, when I haven't pressed anything. No error message or anything. 

Wouldn't storage issues only come up when I tried to save?

I know it can stop recording if it can't hear anything, but I'm getting up to about -12dB.
