Cannot hear sound even though I can see the audio track

My track is not muted. My speakers work and I can hear sound from other sources. I just bought an upgraded version, installed it and restarted my computer and yet I still cannot hear the track!

Any suggestions?

Check the Windows mixer, to confirm that the Videopad volume is maximized... 

This is Windows 11.  Your display may be different.  Right-click the speaker icon at the bottom-right of the screen.  Launch the Volume mixer.

In Videopad, make sure the that volume sliders are full and that the clip itself isn't muted.

Thank you! It was so simple. It was the volume mixer at the bottom, something I never even noticed. I do this for home use so am not a pro. Thanks!
