Pierre281
Hello, I have to re-encode a big file size MP4 video in order to compress file size. In order to have the best quality re-encoding, what is the best NCH software to use (for the re-encoding) : PRISM or VIDEOPAD ?
n1x1
VideoPad is a Video Editing program and Prism is a Video Converter Software. Prism offers built-in video codecs which support a number of different video file formats and compressions. If you are interested in testing the program, you can download the demo version from the following link: https://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html
Pierre281
Between PRISM and VIDEOPAD, they have both an encoder. According to you, what is the best quality encoder between PRISM and VIDEOPAD ? Or is it the the same quality encoder ?

Based on your previous replies to this thread, since you won't be making edits to the material, PRISM <https://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html> would be more fitting for your needs. MakubX
Both programs do have similar encoder options but we'd recommend testing the program to your liking. ref: https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10252.html Demo versions: Prism VideoPad Technical Support if needed is available for free here.
