Vaderknightrider
I'm making a project with a video inside of another video, but I can't see the second video. I'm using the Video in Video effect. What am I missing?
borate
Background on track 1. Insert on track 2. Use the Picture-In-Picture effect. Try a preset from the drop-down menu, adjust the sliders, or drag the preview image. POSITION or MOTION effects can achieve the same result. The insert must be smaller (the boy) than the background (girl in front of bars), of course.

Raven150
I have a dog doing obedience on track 1. How do I add a video in a video of a close up of the dog keeping both synched?
borate
As described above. Higher tracks take precedence over lower. So, for track 1 to be seen, the track two image must be smaller. Use the Picture-In-Picture effect, or the Motion effect to size and position track 2 content. The close-up video can be dragged left or right to sync it with track 1. If you make a mistake, press <ctrl-Z> (EDIT|UNDO) to go back, step-by-step. Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar.
