MSchaed
Hello, I'm new here. Situation: I have a large song collection in a M4A format (files). Each song (file) has a different output volume when listening. With a batch job I created a mirror song collection in a MP3 format. Worked well. As I mentioned some songs have a lower output volume than others. Challange: I would like that each song has the maximum output volume (peak level). Question: using a batch job, can the output volume for each song be set at maximum output level (peak) and how is it done (procedure)? Thanks for any help. Chris75
Hello, and in this case, when you are processing the files in Batch, you may want to use the Normalize effect to adjust the volume so that the loudest peak is equal to (or a percentage of) the maximum signal that can be used in digital audio. For more details about the normalize effect you may follow this link http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/wavepad/win/normalize.html
