addressed How to freely move text

I'm new to this software and in one of my videos, I have stationary text that I want to place above someone's name.  However when I move it, I can not get it in the perfect position.

It's almost like it's snapping but I don't know what to or how to change it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Set the A/R to Match Monitor 

If you are moving the text with the POSITION or MOTION effect, it sometimes helps to Show Dual Preview windows under OPTIONS | DISPLAY.

Then, In the clip preview window at the left drag the text to the desired position as you view the sequence window.  Or use the effect sliders.

Take a look to this instructional video. Not auto motion tracking, but manual motion tracking.  Hope there will be auto motion tracking soon. And auto white balance please. LOL

Yes, desirable features.  Request them. 

In effects,some of the choices may do what you want.

Yes, I tested them out. Color balance and temperature will do. Just I miss the white balance function in pinnacle studio where I can aim at a "correct white" to change the balance of the color in the video. I'll do a suggestion. They'll think I'm asking for too many things.
