mariobuildsrc
Hey all. Has anyone figured out how to add an image to scroll with the text? Trying to replace the letter i (Mario) with an image of a jet. I downloaded a font program that has images for the keystrokes, but the spacing is not good. Any suggestions pls? NOTE< trying to insert a screen capture, but cant attach it.
borate
To post a screenshot upload it to a free server, get a link, and paste the link in here. One approach to your quest (Nat's method, below, may be easier)... Create the text scroll with a blank space for 'Mario.' Then size and animate an image to match the text movement and placement. The individual length of both image and text clips affects scroll speed. And for the image animation, the horizontal distance between the keyframes (dots) also determines scroll speed. Takes some experimentation. Place the image on track one and the text on track two (or a higher track). Nationalsolo
Hi Place the image on Track 2. Scale to required size generate the test and place on Track 1 Use dual displays to monitor the effect. Make the durations of the clips the same e.g. 10 - 20 seconds Use the Position effect to start text off at bottom of the screen and set a keyframe Move to the end of the clip Use the Position effect to end the text just off the top of the screen and set a keyframe. Text will now scroll in from bottom and off at the top. Do the same for the image clip. Both clips will scroll up the screen together........
