RussE
I have just upgraded fron Version 8.61 to 8.84. Now when I add a Text Overlay or a Text Preset to a slide/photo the system changes the photo to a grey & white checked background. When I add the text the photo display is the text on the white and grey background rather than the text display on the photo. When I do a preview it displays the text on the checked background rather than the coloured blank or the photo the text is on. If I exit out of photostage without saving and reload the file all is OK. It is very cumbersome if I exit out to correct this problem. I may be doing something wrong but I have reviewed the options and cannot yet see where the problem lies. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
DannR
Try doing a clean install and delete all the cache of the program. Uninstall your software first, then go to the folder location below on your computer then delete the PhotoStage folder folders: C:\ProgramData\NCH Software C:\Users\(Your computer profile)\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\PhotoStage If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files. After deleting the PhotoStage folder, restart your computer then install it again from here, and retest:. https://www.nchsoftware.com/slideshow/pstagesetup.exe
