pgmr99
I have a series of images on a sequence. When I preview, the images are stacking on top of each other. They are different sizes and appear weird on the preview. How do I stop this and have only one image at a time appear?
borate
If all clips are on the same track then preview will display only the clip where the scrubber (red line) has been placed. If clips are stacked on different tracks, one above the other, higher track/s take precedence. So, if an image on track 2 is small and the one on track 1 is large, then the track 1 image will be seen in the background. Picture-in-picture. http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win64bitpaid/tasks_watermarkspip.html Individual tracks can be hidden temporarily. Click the 'eye' If this doesn't describe what you are seeing, please upload a screenshot and link it here... Upload to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. pgmr99
They are all on one track. It is like when I preview the sequence, the images stack on top of each other. Since the images are different sizes, you can see parts of previous images. I just want the images to show one at a time.
borate
Upload that screenshot and link it here, so others can see what you see. Confirm that the PC video driver and Direct-X are up to date... https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html

borate
Please install this version. Report back whether it still does it. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
pgmr99
That seemed to fix the problem. Thanks. I will report it again if it fails.
borate
Good to hear. Is this a licensed/registered version?

borate
Interesting. 10.35 came out in April. From where was it purchased?
pgmr99
From their website.
borate
Odd. Thanks for the info. If purchased from NCH the version should have been at least 10.63, perhaps even 10.7x. Please paste the purchase link here, if still available.
pgmr99
10.
borate
Version 10.35 is shown in your linked jpg image. What was the URL (the link) used to purchase it?
pgmr99
I am afraid I don't know. It was probably from the VideoPad details page. (https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html) There are so many places on the website where you can purchase it. I checked the first download and started it again and it said 10.76. borate
Thanks. Why you got a dated version is puzzling, but remedied now. Though free updates are offered within six-months of purchase date there's no reason to install them if your current version is serving you well. You can always test the latest to see if there are new useful features. Retain your registration info, of course.
