RAF123
My old PC died. The license email I received a year ago, states that it can only be used once, else it will be blocked. So, how do I activate Switch in my new PC?
Fred28
I would suggest you contact NCH Tech team to request the download link of the version that is compatible with your license so that you can use the license you have to register. You can reach out to them here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
ACoggins
My license says that because of administrative costs, they won't help you. The quote is: Due to high administrative costs, we are unable to reissue 'lost' serial numbers.", but I thought I also read they wouldn't dig up any old versions for you either. This doesn't surprise me. Did you see the registration requirements? You have to read an awful lot to understand your "duties" under this license (and having a law degree wouldn't hurt). You type in an Activation Code, then Activate it online with your name and address (which are case sensitive). They don't say, but I think if you activate from a computer, you probably have to install the SW on that computer (I may ask a separate question on this matter). They say "keep a backup of your install files" and provide the following in their FAQ. How do I make a backup of my Installation file A backup by definition is a file saved somewhere external to your PC. We suggest using Express Burn to back up the installation file to CD should you need it at a later date. The file location is C:program files\NCH Software\program name Burn the entire program folder to CD. You must record your Registration Code, either by printing it out or as a document saved with this backup.
