Supressing imported audio at different points

Let’s say I have a 25 minute movie , and a 25 minute soundtrack.

I would like to suppress the imported soundtrack periodically, and retain the original audio.

E.g.

0:00 - 0:05 – keep imported soundtrack

0:05- 0:10 -  mute the imported soundtrack while keeping the original audio

0:10 - 0:15 – keep imported soundtrack

0:15- 0:25 -  mute the imported soundtrack while keeping the original audio.

Can this be done ? And if so, how do I do it ?

I do not think this is something you can do in PhotoStage, maybe in VideoPad but you can confirm with the NCH tech team here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
