No sound on exported video (OSX)

I'm running VP Free 8.60 on a Mac with El Captain. I've used the default YouTube setting to export my video but there is no sound when playing after export. The sound plays fine in the app and nothing is muted but nothings plays once exported. I found this out after a 3hr export! Any ideas what could be up?

Does an export to a file play on your Mac?  Tough to speculate without seeing the project.  Share it and someone will take a look.  Just follow these four easy steps...

1. With your project on the timeline, click the 3-lined 'hamburger' menu, top-left.  Click FILE | BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Specify a folder.  Click SELECT FOLDER.
2.  Using the PC file manager, go to where the numbered folder was saved and upload it to a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.*
3.  Get a shared, public, non-restricted link.
4.  Paste that link here, or click the folder, above top-right in this forum, and message it to me.  This is private and won't be shared.
*    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

Hi jazznpepper .  Does this problem happen even for a simple project (e.g. try a 1 minute movie and add a simple effect like Black&White) ? Please also try to change the MP4 encoding settings, Lossless Export to Off and Audio Channel Numbers to 2, as indicated in these screenshots. Please also try exporting to .MOV format.
