borate
VST Plugins This feature allows you to use Virtual Studio Technology (VST) DLL plugins to apply effects to the audio you are working with in VideoPad. To use this feature, select Audio Effects menu -> VST Plugins, and in the window that appears, you can browse for the directory on your computer that contains VST plugins - note that the plugins must be DLL files! Once you have specified a directory name, you should see a list of VST plugin names appear in a list in the window. Press the "Refresh" button, if you don't see your desired plugin in the list, but it is in the selected folder. Next, click the "OK" button to see the selected VST plugin effect window. Karlsson
My VideoPad will not show me any DLL-files to choose between under ”Choose VST plugin to load:”, although I know they are there. “Refresh” doesn’t help. Can this be because I’m using an unlicensed version of VideoPad? Can it be because Waves Tune ver.14 is not yet compatible with VideoPad version 12.33? I’ll like to see it work before I buy. borate
Did you select the audio track prior to searching for the VST plug in? Share one of those VST files here and someone will check it out. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
Karlsson
I have no problems in modifying the sound using the preinstalled Audio Effects. On this link you’ll find one of the DLL-files you get when downloading Waves Tune: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12qejmg6Haasbl1wPAfBK3clCpD9bD9gf/view?usp=sharing The folder that comes with Waves Tune consists of 133 files and 64MB, so I just copied one. borate
Several licensed releases - old and new - were checked with this plug in. Neither could detect it. Do you have others that are seen? So it may not be supported. Query NCH... https://tinyurl.com/r89tpcw
Karlsson
Do you know of other Pich Correcting Plugins that can run with VideoPad?
borate
Sorry, no. Include that in your support ticket to the company. Please report their response here - if any. Click the 'plugins' link in the VST box for some suggestions.
