Problem while screen recording

To the IT department:
I was using your program debut to screen record an online lecture . Unfortunately, my laptop shut off unexpectedly . 
Once the laptop was restarted , The recorded file can’t open 

Is the recording lost ? Or is there any method to retrieve it?

Unfortunately, your recording can't be retrieved, the reason is the file is only saved when clicked on the Stop button. Since you didn't managed to do that, the file isn't save and the recording is gone.
