Hi I have just purchased express scribe professional and have it downloaded onto my MacBook Air. It all seems to be working fine but the hot keys are responding. Under 'preferences' 'hotkeys' I have ticked 'enable system-wide hot-keys' so it should work..? Really need to use the hotkeys to save myself having to take my fingers off the keyboard to use the mouse to pause and rewind. Thanks

Hello,

If you are using a Mac, please make sure to press the "fn" key when using your hotkeys.

Regards.

Hi thanks for the suggestion but that still doesn't work

I am having the same issue, I have tried reassigning the hot keys and they aren't working either. Has anyone figured this out?

No luck figuring this out. Using fn doesn't resolve the issue, unfortunately. My advice is to select View > Float Above Other Windows in Express Scribe and then to manually insert it. I've submitted a ticket to see if they can't figure out this issue. Hoping for some answers soon! Sigh, ES used to work great on my MacBook Pro!
