Video pad to slow

Hello,

 

my video pad is very slow, since a couple of days

I can't work out my videos anymore.

 

I have to slow down the files often to 40% or 20%.

After I slowed the files down, the file is hanging and repeating every word four to five times.

 

I uninstalled all unnecessary programs from my laptop.

I have 180 GB free on my laptop and have deleted as well the temporary internet files.

 

A friend of mine has by the way the same problem.

 

Before I work out my files, I always clean them with wave pad ect.

 

Any idea how to solve this?

 

Is there any way, to work out sound files, with subtitles with wave pad?
