Newbie: looking for scissors icon

I had the trial (free) version on screen. I downloaded and registered etc ... the licensed version but I don't seem to have the scissors icon. Probably something very simple but .... Any ideas? Thanks.

There should be a scissors for both the clip and the preview windows, just below their bottom-right edges.

If you don't see them, try a reinstall of the program. Using 3.36 unregistered version here.

Thanks Borate, on the bottom right of the clip preview I have a down arrow, a split button and zoom buttons. Bottom right of the sequence preview I have the split icon, camera icon, sequence button, and zoom buttons. I'll try a re-install, but will appreciate any help.

The split button IS the button with the scissors on it here. Can't say why that's not the case there. What version? So if you have a split button, you should have what you need.

Hi

In version 3.47 the Split button looks like two batteries side by side under the right hand preview pane. (Actually meant to be a length of film split in the centre with small green left/right arrows !)

The down arrow to the right of this allows you to select what is to be split.
