Invoice Number

I recorded few invoices (128,129,130) and gave it to the accountant already, but I forgot to do the back up and they are gone (as I changed the computer and system). When I want to record them again there is an automatic invoice number given (different then the one before) and I want to save it as 128, 129, 130 to match the old ones...Is there any option to do it?

I think I know how to do it.

You go to options -> invoice -> and there change invoice number (if you want create invoice nr 118, change the invoice nr to 117 - the next free one is 118).

I have tryed it here and have no problem typing in my own invoice number(s) and can also delete them and go back in and create a invoice with the old invoice number with no problems at all.

 

just click on the invoice number and renter the number for the invoice

You mean in the "option" tab?

As you are doing/adding a invoice you should see the invoice number on the right hand side.

I have noticed that when using the web access you can't change the invoice number when creating an invoice, only when using the desktop interface.

Hi There, there is no way i find an Tab with Invoice accept for the invoice Layout so where do you change the next invoice number?
