Right To Left “writing” effect text overlay not possible?

 

Hey,

As a newbie if have a basic question on text overlay effects. I see one has the possibility to scroll text in all direction, but I can´t see the possibility for scroll a text say from left to right with a STOP on the left side.

It seems not possible to have a right to left “WRITING” effect on text overlay. This seems so basic to me I can´t imagine that it is not possible.

If you are using version 3.xx then you are lucky if you can even get it to scroll in ANY direction!

On my system, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. More often than not the text completely disappears!

It only appears if it is set to No Scroll. I can position it and that is all.

 

You should be able to produce a "typewriter" effect if you create an image for every letter addition and change of position and playing each one rapidly in sequence, setting the duration of each image to something suitable.

Thanks for the swift reply,

 

I am using the latest 3.xx version, the other scroll effects are working fine.

Making a slide for each character is simply not doable, so I guess this is the limit of videopad.
