abcd Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 VideoPad v.3.04 loads processor fully and converts video file awfully a long time. Where to take older versions ? Thank You !
Guest Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 HI If you feel that the 3.xxx versions are too slow then you can download version 2.41 here.... http://download.chip...d84800118752123 N.B. Read each page of the downloader carefully and click No or untick the boxes to all the extras you don't want. (Screensavers;toolbars etc.). The version downloaded is 2.41 and have checked that this is so. Nat

I've downloaded v.2.41 yesterday and now it's converting film longing 1h30m and it seems that full converting time will be about 10 hours at half processor load. It is not very fair as it appears. For example VirtualDub make the same work more quickly and has option to regulate converting speed. But at this time I had to convert .mkv and VD can't do it, asking for side codecs. Now I've find more recent versions of VideoPad here- http://videopad-free-video-editor.soft32.com/old-version/ and next time maybe 'll try these. Yet I'll download the version from the link you give, although it the same v 2.41, but it has the different release date, who know, it could be tested. Yes, I made the same while installation- without extras. With Regards, Eric, Russia.

grumblenot Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 not sure if here is ok or if the forum prefers a new topic. i have a situation and am not sure what to do. my purchase of nch videopad disappeared when the computer shop in town wiped my pc clean after a crash. not sure what version it was, that part was not mentioned in the receipt, but i have the emails from the time of purchase, so it's either the 2.41 or the 5.10. ie : NCH Software <donotreply@nchsoftware.com> 9/29/11 anyroad, back to the situation. dl'ed another videopad onto the pc once the shop had it restored to operational. the old code doesn't want to work. the program instead wants me to purchase another updated version etc. so i came to the forum thinking about what to do with this, as i dont think i should have to purchase another new version ontop of the what was it, let's see .. For: Software Licenses 1 x VideoPad Video Editor Master's Edition ($69.95ea): $US69.95 (sale discount from RRP of $99.00ea applied) No technical support purchased. Delivery by online download. License Serial Number(s) Starting 83831400xxxx Total: $AUD72.32 (approximately $USD69.95 at this week's exchange rate) .... and low and behold, i see this msg. here. do i delete the program i now have on this computer and start again with the old version is my question. will my old code work with the version am guessing would be the old one i had with my reg. code? thank you
Guest Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Hi Download version 2.41 (as this would seem to be the one you had.) http://videopad-free...om/old-version/ http://download.chip...d84800118752123 Read each page of the downloader carefully and click "No" or untick all the boxes to all the extras you don't want. (Screensavers;toolbars etc.). The version downloaded is 2.41. Save the setup.exe file to a suitable folder on your PC. Don't just load it. That way you can later switch to other versions if you want. The link just above is for the Free unlicenced version. Double click the setup.exe file you have downloaded to setup the program (I normally unpack it into the same folder so everything is together) Rename the setup.exe file with the version number as all the versions have the same title and icon. Once it is all setup copy the VP start icon to your desktop for easy access. Note that the version number appears in the bottom left hand corner of the editing screen. Nat
