alandmuse
I've been trying out VideoPad (v3.02) on an XP-64 system and I was trying to do a basic task - chopping out a section of an existing DVD's video and re-exporting to a new DVD. However, the audio in the resulting DVD does not play in Windows media player or on my home DVD player. When I pull the resulting file back in to VideoPad, I can see the linked audio component and it plays back fine. I just need to figure out why it doesn't seem to be recognized by other external players. Thanks for any assistance!
Nationalsolo
Hi I would suggest that you save your video first as an .avi to your PC using one of the HD formats presets and either H264 (Native) or MPEG4 (Native) under the encoder options with sound as an MP3 (Native) If you then use a 3rd party DVD maker such as Windows DVD maker or DVDStyler it should play OK.
