Can not connect to ip camera

I have a Foscam FI9821W & I cant seem to get it to connect with debut. It works fine using the web based stuff it came with but I want to use Debut but

It just hangs forever at connecting...

 

Could someone please help with this

same here, debut cannot even connect to my isight camera nor my foscam or avtech network cameras, then crashes when I cancel ? I use security spy for my foscam its perfect but it doesn't support the avtech so I'm trying this.

The Network camera radio button has to be selected before you can type in the URL.

 

For most cameras, you'll need to type in the full URL to the MJPEG stream, not just the URL of the camera. e.g., http://x.x.x.x/mjpg/video.mjpg instead of just http://x.x.x.x. The actual format of the full URL differs between manufacturers and models.

I'm getting an error message "Failed to open video source" when I try to connect to an Axis PTZ 215 on my local metwork. I copied the URL from Firefox and could not connect ( http://192.168.1.235/view/index.shtml ). I set the output of the camera to motion jpg. Any suggestions?
