jtsurf1
I am using VideoPad 2.41. Is there a way to cut a video (i.e. remove parts of a movie) and save it without reencoding? I am often bringing in clips that are already compressed and do not require further compression. I would like to just chop those clips up and just save them without sending them through the encoder. Thanks in advance.
Nationalsolo
Hi When you "cut" your clip VP does not create anything in the way of a "New clip", it just makes a note of your editing actions. The original clip remains untouched. Consequently when you want now save your newly "created" clip , VP HAS to do this from the saved info and your original clip. Your original clip therefore remains intact. Re-encoding is always needed. Nat
