Dave66
Hi, I've just started using Videopad v2.22 and I've put together a video comprised of a number of still images (photographs), I have added a number of audio clips (music). When I preview the project/video within Videopad the audio is fine, however, when I burn a DVD (PAL) it burns fine and plays perfectly on my DVD player BUT there is no audio whatsoever, I was on the verge of buying Videopad (as gift for my Daughter) but with this problem I don't think it would be worth the investment. When I burn to DVD, in advanced I have selected "Calculate Bitrate automatically to fit your video on a DVD disk" The Video length is fairly short (about 8 minutes long). Is this an intentional limitation of the free/trial version? Thanks Dave
Nationalsolo
Hi I wouldn't think this was an intentional limitation on the free version as mine works OK. Have you tried saving your film first to your computer, and if so does it play? Reload your project (Assuming you saved it.) Now just select: Save Movie - Computer/Data - Browse for a destination folder - Preset HD 1080 - Encoder options - MP3(Native) - Sound 44100 Hz The output Avi should play in Windows Media Player. If this is the case then your film is OK and at least you have a playable copy on your PC. Try saving again to disc with VP and if the sound is still absent I would suggest using a 3rd party burner to create your DVD from the saved avi, e.g. Windows DVD creator.
