Problems with CallURL 2LV+

I just received a CallURL 2LV+ with EasyTAPI verson 3.0.0.

The board works and IVM answers the phone. However, Caller ID is always "Unavailable" (I do have Caller ID on my phone line). Also, when I run Diag32 I get the error "Cannot Allocate Channel"

Has anyone had these issues? If so what did you do to solve them

Hello,

Ok with regards to caller display... is your callurl board connected directly to the public telephone network or does it go through a pbx? have you tried another phone on the line that supports caller id to check it's working?

Do you know what type of caller display your telephone company uses? if you don't where abouts in the world are you and who is your service provider? - might be able to make an educated guess!

Diag32 is a seperate program, you can only have one program accessing your board at any given time. Make sure you have closed IVM down completely (including from system tray) and then try again...

Cheers

Thanks for the Reply.

I realized that I had to shut down IVM before running Diag32 AFTER I posted the question. (I'm a bit embarrassed about that part.)

I live in Tampa, Florida. I've tried changing the CID type back and forth and still don't have any luck. I've been changing it using the TAPI settings in Diag32, is there another way? Do I have to restart the computer or something for those changes to take affect?

The phone line is plugged directly into the board. I have a small home office, no PBX. Usually that line is connected to a CID enabled phone and works fine.

Is there a way to find out what type of CID they have here. Verizon is my phone company, if that makes any difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm getting frustrated.

Thanks!
