jefftovar Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Greetings, I'd like to know if it is possible to change an invoice number manually. I know you can adjust the start number via the Preferences, but I see no way to adjust a number once it has been recorded. I also need to enter past invoices and would like to keep their numbers in chronological order so this feature is key. I'm also wondering about deleted invoices and why the next one created doesn't take over that number? For example, I deleted invoice number 118, then created a new one and it was assigned 119. You go to options -> invoice -> and there change invoice number (if you want create invoice nr 118, change the invoice nr to 117 - the next free one is 118). Hope I helped. Cheers!
