stylo Posted October 18, 2009 Share Posted October 18, 2009 I have been using ExpressScribe for a few years transcribing with the foot pedal. I have now started using ExpressScribe on my laptop as well but what cannot find is how to turn the (hot) F key function off. The foot pedal is working fine but also the F keys. I use F3 for autotext all the time and instead of the autotext it is slowing down the dictation. Can anyone help please? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Turn off Options -> "System-Wide Hot-Keys..." -> "Enable system-wide hot-keys". Or right-click on the Express Scribe notification area icon (AKA: the "tray icon") and select "Disable system-wide hot-keys". Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
