Express Scribe startup message

I am using express scribe to download files from a website & open it directly in Express Scribe. With every file that I open, the express scribe message comes up & needs to be clicked before listening the dictation.

 

How can I get rid of the message???

There's no way of disabling the splash screen, if that's what you mean.

This 58-second message has just started in recent weeks just out of the blue. It is very annoying. Anything you can do to eliminate this would be greatly appreciated. I've been using ES for several years now so I really don't need a tutorial message.

Some versions of Scribe earlier than v4.36 would play the welcome recording every time Scribe started. What version are you running?

But I have been running this for quite some time and the message just started in recent weeks. I like this version but can update if that will solve the problem.

There's a workaround for the problem here if you don't want to upgrade.
