Thanks According to the NCH Software website, http://www.nch.com.au/software/buyfaq.html#UPGRADE, you can upgrade for free for only three months after purchase. After that, you follow the link, under Golden Records Help, to get the discount price for an upgrade, usually about 50% off. As you can see, NCH Software makes it expensive to keep up with the current versions of their products. If you upgraded to every new version over a year, you would in essence pay for the app all over again. I have complained about that, but never received a response. Hope this helps.
