protocol
We have been having some "issues" with our system for the last several month. Callers will select the desired mailbox number and our system starts to send them to that mailbox but then it selects a different mailbox to route them to, thus not allowing them to get to the mailbox they need. Doing some troubleshooting we think our problems may be linked to a change in our phone service from analog to digital. Could this problem be resolved by reinstalling the program? pythonpoole
That's a bit strange. By analog to digital, do you mean PSTN to VoIP or are you still connecting to a physical phone line through some sort of TAPI compliant device? You can always try re-installing, just make sure you re-install using the same installer (version) that you have purchased the license for. splat30
I seem to be having a similar problem with digital lines. The problem is face is as follows: - Caller hangs up - OGM does Polite Goodbye - IVM log displayes "Call disconnected" - About 5 seconds later the IVM log indicates an incoming call but there is no actual call happening. At this point the IVM just loops through this cycle indefinately. Since we have only one line the only way to resolve is to shutdown/restart IVM. This did not occur when the IVM box was connected to a residential line but we have noticed it since moving the IVM box to an office building. Is there a possibility that the problem is caused by the office phones being digital or by a PBX perhaps?? I've tried adjusting numerous settings in IVM but problem still occurs. Help!!
