  1. Yes, it doesn't increase level in repeat load but the level it loads is clipping compared to 13.09's level.
  2. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1NFwGOT44Qbvi53nGJ8gHBlZ4eBTVJtOp?usp=sharing the file I tested are all here.
  3. Does the level compare the same to 13.09? Not in my case.
  4. Well, once again, those audio files I showed were from NCH library, not from videos. Maybe it shows a difference.
  5. 13.14 no longer repetitively normalize a file. However, there are 2 problems. 1, it still over normalize and make clipping sounds. I include the captured file of 13.09 vs 13.14 here. You can see the 13.14 one shows clipping. http://www.rsw.com.hk/1309.jpg http://www.rsw.com.hk/1314.jpg Another problem is when you zoom in the 13.14, after certain level of zooming the audio files will display as flat lines!
  6. Would it be because my audio files were not from the video but from the NCH library? Dunno if it makes any difference.
  7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bvyl06pCWSQ This is how it is like on my end. I started from installing the 13.12, then load the project up, the first time it was fine. Then I made a new project to clear screen, then load the same project up again. This time, the audio file is super-normalized. The third time is the same.
  8. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1NFwGOT44Qbvi53nGJ8gHBlZ4eBTVJtOp?usp=sharing Have you compared the level with 13.09?
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTfYEPNIliA The audio becomes clipping in 13.10 and 13.11, through repetitively auto normalization by opening the project again and again. 13.09 doesn't have this problem.
  10. I've tested VP 13.10 and it has equal H265 hardware encoding as the H264 hardware encoding GPU utilization. Good job, VP! I compared to adobe premiere pro and the utilization rate on the same video without effects, are the same. With effects, CUDA has an advantage in exporting, like the sharpen effect in adobe PR Pro is a lot faster than the VP sharpen effect. It seems that when the effect used on the video can be done by GPU in VP, like color correction, then the speed difference between CUDA supported PR Pro and VP is less pronounced. CUDA still holds an advantage on the latter case. Also when there's overlay / scaling, VP's speed drops significantly but PR PRO still retains the same speed by CUDAing it through.
  11. As subject. I don't seem to be able to locate where I can set the device to my hardware synth where it uses my soundfont. Thanks.
  12. Since I changed machine, I would like to move my former custom effects to the new videopad installed on the new machine. Please let me know how, thanks.
  13. hahahha let's hope I manage the switch of computer first. In the future I hope to export h265 directly so hopefully videopad can have fast h265 editing (not now) and hardware acceleration in export, using nvenc.
  14. Just as subject. I'm going to replace my 13 years old computer finally with a slightly more modern one.
  15. It could be related to the issue I had been facing for long long time.
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CCzIwREIfc As I mentioned since 11.32, the x264 export has been slow here due to running at single thread only. I compared its speed with x265 export and the x265 export was even faster than it slightly. The counter somehow stopped working in the exported version. I exported twice and both time the timer stopped somewhere in the video. Anyway, the timer worked in the preview so I took the time down. This is another issue. The video was exported with 11.32.
  17. So if I put 4 1080p videos, scaled down to 50% in size in order fit them on the screen, and then export at 4k, they will be at their full 1080p quality in the output video?
  18. Sometimes I need to place several 1080p videos on the screen as compare and would like them to be displayed without scaling down the quality. So I wonder if there's anyway I can start a project and set it at 4K resolution, so I can just put the 1080p videos into it side by side without scaling.
