  1. I'm having problems with several things:

    1. I would like to have one slide (or sequence) appear in 3D. Is there any way to do this in VP?

    2. I would like to make a transition thus:

    a. Magic Eye as a base.

    b. Then I want to overlay a video of a hummingbird on it.

    c. Obviously, the background will have to come off the overlay and leave just the little fluttering hummingbird.

    d. I want this to serve as a very brief transition. I have managed to make this slide (except for the transparent video background), but it must be too small, because I have created and saved it twice but I cannot find it on my computer.

    How do I do this?

    I am using v. 4.40.

  2. I am attempting use the Subtitles feature of VideoPad to put my website URL on the bottom of an hour long sermon. It is telling me that "Show must come before Hide." This I already know, but it won't let me input the appropriate timing. What am I doing wrong?

  3. Why would an image reject the amount of time you want it to appear on the sequence? I have an image that says I can leave it onscreen 2.160s, but the narration calls for something closer to 5.00s. What causes this, and how can I get the image to appear onscreen 5.000s?

  4. I just purchased a new computer and am transferring all my software to it. In putting in my registration code to this new computer, it says I may not do it, because I may cause my registration code to be blocked in the future. I am not using my old computer. May I use my registration code for VideoPad on my new computer? Do you have a workaround for this problem?

  5. I used pc version 2.41 to learn that I liked VideoPad a lot. It was easy and made sense to me. However, the upgrade that I purchased (v 3.79) plus another upgrade that cost almost as much as the original purchase (v. 4.31) I can't use. They are too hard. So. . .

Where can I get another free copy of the v. 2.41 for my pc? They are advertised all over the internet, but they don't download in a simple and straightforward manner. There is always something wrong with them. Where can I get a copy that I can use?

  6. My short videos are now ready to move out of my VideoPad and be uploaded to YouTube. Is there a tutorial that will show me how to do this? I did it once but I have forgotten. I believe first the videos must be prepared for uploading. Then the actual uploading. Where are the instructions for these things. I don't want to mess up now.

  7. Well I looked. I went to "Explore>C Drive>Program Files [No 86]>NCH Folder [in right panel>Videopad." No "install" files. I then wrote to tech support. I have yet to hear back from them. I wish they had told me the zoom feature wasn't included in the "paid for" package; I would have had to think pretty hard before purchasing it.

Let me ask this: Surely there is a plugin somewhere that supplies the pan/zoom feature. Or any other suggestions you may have would be appreciated.

  8. I wanted to do certain effects in my video and find that using the current version (v. 3.79) is too cumbersome and doesn't allow me to do in-depth treatment. Therefore, I had the bright idea to download the free version and have both versions on my desktop. Then I could use whichever one I wanted, switching back and forth. But I tried this and find that the free version will override the current version instead of giving me a wider option for using the zoom. Is there some way that I could have both versions on my desktop?

  9. Thank you so much for you replies to my inquiries about the Ken Burns effect. This time I would like to know how to take out of my video 3 gray panels that appear only when I preview. This is the one that says--hold on, the software isn't ready for another operation yet. I went to see it again, and it says "Building Preview." I only see it when I preview, so I was wondering how to find it in the regular software so I can take it out.
