    This issue has not come up as a bug in technical support channels yet, everything similar we have seen has been has been solved through browsers and cookies. If you have been unable to solve this issue could you please log a support ticket at IVM Technical Support ? This will allow us to determine if there is an actual code bug, or something else going on.

    Did anyone confirm and/or fix the bug? I can't imagine it's a huge change in code. I'd really like to be able to block the phone spam.

    Hi,

     

    IVM does have Message Waiting Indicator Support - at this time it has only been thoroughly tested with Axon - only limitation is your light will stay on as long as there are messages in your IVM mailbox folder, so if you get your voicemails by email attachment, you would have to use the "delete after sending" option in IVM for the MWI light to be accurate.

     

    FI/FO is a suggestion for next release.

     

    The current code recognizes a call as private if it does not begin with a digit, it is being modified to allow for the '+' sign. We should be able to get this released fairly soon.

  4. Ok This has happened twice with the system which has been on and working for about a month. Everyone who dictates after the "bad call" gets there dictation put to saved, and if they call back , the system tells them they have saved documents, but then tells them they don't have them after pressing 2. If you look in the backup folder, there will be a file that just keeps growing in size. it is the newest file in the folder, and I think is a temp file being compressed, badly, in a loop of sorts.

    To get the system to let each user access, listen to, and send each dictation, you have to go in under file, and select cancel pending sends. The growing monster file is deleted, and I spend a half hour going into each user's mailbox submitting dictation.

     

    Does anyone know what is causing this?

  5. Hiya,

     

    I recently switched over from CuteFTP to Classic FTP and I'm pretty happy about it (layouts prettier) Anyhow, one thing I noticed different in an unpleasant way is that every time I refresh Classic FTP it shoves a bunch of unwanted files into my core drupal folder. I'm new at this stuff and am trying to keep everything organized. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have random files (which is most likely being downloaded from my server) dropped into my core file/local server?... and I'm pretty sure it has to be a settings issue, right? Hope I wasn't to brief in the explanation... thanks in advance to anyone who can help :)

    That little "refresh" button is actually a button for the Mirror command - confusing I know and we will be changing the icon and better documenting the feature in our next release. Read about the Mirror feature in help to see how you can use it and what it does.

    Yes, Axon can route multiple DID lines from different VoIP providers to the same extension. You configure one external line for each DID and have each line ringing to any group or extension. If you have a multi-line soft phone or IP phone you could have separate lines on the phone configured to a different extension, where each VoIP account goes to a different extension. Same phone but you know which account the call is coming in on...

     

    Call routing - depends on what you mean by automatic...Axon allows for dialing rules that can be setup specifically to use a particular external line. But the rule digits must preface the phone number. For example dial 1+number to use voipstunt line, 2+number to use callcentric, etc. So not really least cost routing in the true sense, but similar manual functionality if you program your dialing rules for it...

     

    Hope this helps. Also Axon is available fully functioned as a 14-day free trial, and allows for an InPhonex trial DID and account if you select the option.

    Our apologies for any frustrations this has caused you. Please PM me if you have any issues at all with a refund.

     

    As explanation, Axon and IVM Linux are only currently in development for a mini-appliance application that we hope to release in the near future.

     

    We are no longer actively developing Linux applications outside of the above mentioned project. I have requested that our team remove the links to the Linux versions of those products.

    In case you do see this, I created a support ticket that should have sent you an email from our ticketing system. All response to that email would automatically go through our ticketing system.

     

    If you did not receive an email it could be in your SPAM folder. Regardless, I am glad it is working and let us know if you need additional assistance with our ticketing system.

    You can attach them to the ticket I opened for you if you like. You might try allowing www.nchsoftware.com as well as the "AU" URL. I use the same browser, and the XP Pro is certainly not causing your problem - I would think it has to have something to with Bit-Defender/A-V settings. It's the first report of behavior like this with our forms.

    Forms all tested with IE 7.0, IE 8.0, Firefox 3.0.11, Chrome - all seem to be working. Pretty straight forward coding. You could help us by taking a screen shot of your entries and letting us know your browser and version.

     

    In the meantime I will submit a support request to you in our ticketing system so you can interact without having to start out with an informational form. Let me know if you don't get anything within the next couple of hours.

  11. On the website for Wavepad, it says the program is made free in hopes that we will purchase the -Master's Version-. However, I only get the DEMO of the Master's Version. It's expired. I want the FREE Version, not the DEMO of the Master's. It says on the site that the free version is available and doesn't contain as many features as Master's, but somehow, it's not there. Now show me the free version before I call Better Business on you for false advertising.

     

    No need to contact the BBB, just go to the correct page and click the "Get It Now" button.

  13. After I posted this message I decided to do some testing and wrote a small program so I could generate recording files. I ran VRS on a Pentium 4 computer and this are the results:

     

    1. 2500 calls, when I press the "Find and Play" button, it took about 4 seconds until the recording list was displayed. The search was almost instantaneously.

    2. 13,500 calls, when I press the "Find and Play" button, it took about 120 seconds until the recording list was displayed. The search was few seconds.

    3. 56,000 calls. when I press the "Find and Play" button, it took about 30 minutes until the recording list was displayed. I didn't do a search because the wait do display the call is unacceptable.

     

    I hope somebody from NCH reads this forum.
