  1. I am using Dial Dictate v4.22. Spradically, I get the following message in conjunction with my VOIP connection. Do you know what is causing this?

15:03:13 Unable to use UPnP for NAT routing (UPnP failed)

15:03:13 Unable to auto-detect public IP. Using private IP

    Hi,

Are you actually having functionality issues in association with this message?

Or are you just concerned about the message itself?

    Thanks.

  2. Hi Mick,

Thank you for all of your feedback on Express Accounts.

Just wanted to let you know that I fast tracked this issue so it can be looked into. Unfortunately it would take a bit longer for a developer scanning this forum to put this post together with the PNG you entered into our ticketing system. I sent development this forum link along with your PNG attachment, rather than waiting for a support tech to make it happen.

    Thanks for you patience.

  3. Ben,

In theory you could run the Windows version and turn on web access, then any browser can utilize the web interface functionality whether Mac, iPhone, PC, etc. over a network. I have a query out to development with regards to any potential issues - I know that have tested access from an iPhone and it worked well.

  4. Hi,

I received this response from development:

"Basically, this means that the SPA device while negotiating how audio will be sent did not offer any options that IMS supports. We offer the following options (codec/sample rate):

    PCMU/8000

    PCMA/8000

    G726-32/8000

    GSM/8000

If a phone (SPA) is configured to not allow the formats listed above then the call cannot be connected because there is no encoding we can send that they will be able to receive and vice versa. This can be seen by turning on SIP trace in Axon and then looking for the INVITE message sent by the SPA when attempting to connect to the MOH server. My guess is that his SPA is requesting either different codecs (G729, etc.) or a different sample rate (16000, 11025, …).

The message should actually read “RTP codecs” rather than “SIP codecs” to be more clear."

If you have additional questions or concerns, or you would like to get more information regarding this response, please log a ticket in our tech support system at this link: Log IMS Support Ticket

  5. Hi,

Are you using the latest versions of EI and HG from our website? If not, what versions are you using?

What are your settings in EI under Options>Other ...digits after decimal... ?

  6. Hi,

For those of you still having problems with Switch and Snow Leopard, I have received some initial feedback from development:

    ************************************

Can you please install Rosetta (PowerPC emulator).

"Insert the Snow leopard install DVD and open it in finder. Double-click on the "optional installs.mpkg" and follow the instructions. On the screen with the choice of things to install, choose Rosetta."

Let us know if this works.

    Thanks.

  7. Hi,

Axon has not been formally tested with the Grandstream FXO adapters, but I do know they are being used successfully by customers as I have seen tickets come through our support queue to that effect. Many of the options and settings for the 3102 deal with SIP, signal and network tweaks that are standards. Since I have never configured a Grandstream I am not an expert, but doesn't the Grandstream have many of the same options available for tuning inbound and outbound traffic/signals as the 3102?

Unfortunately I don't think we have any user configuration guides for the Grandstream like the one available for the 3102.

  8. For the most part these are user-forums for users supporting users. Technical support questions are always answered through our ticketing system accessible from the product specific support sections on our website. That being said, these forums are patrolled by NCH development and support staff as they are able.

Non-response means nobody with a direct answer to your question saw your post. Please try FastFox Technical Support

    Thanks.
