I JUST started using VideoPad last night and I am seeing the exact same issues...split/delete causing audio and video (in preview) to get out of sync. It's behaving better this afternoon, but if I start seeing that again, I will try the "save & reload" to see if that resolves the wonkiness.

I just started playing with VideoPad last night, and the first thing I noticed was the drivespace consumption. This afternoon, to ensure it wasn't something I was doing wrong late last night, I loaded up the same video that's barely over 1 gb (2 hrs long). All I did was put a single split point in the timeline and, already, VideoPad has written 50 GB of files to folders under the VideoPadCache folder. That is insane. What's worse is that without making any other edits (just inserting that single split point) the audio and video are already out of sync "to the right" of the split point.
