StopWatch setting and other bugs

Hi,

I have added STOPWATCH to my project. I can able to set the STOPWATCH and stop correctly. But it shows the (offset) time it actually starts. For example, the video starts at 1min 35 seconds. The STOPWATCH showed as 1.35.0 and start the STOPWATCH and incremented and stopped correctly. But I want to show 0.0.0 as the STOPWATCH starts irrespective of the place (time) where I start.

How can I do that?

Also, the Clips are splitting randomly (only in the project timeline), some square shaped shadow background color in text clips without my knowledge or intervention (only showed in the finished video). Initially, I thought I have done a mistake. After studying every frame and watching my editing carefully, Only I found that it is the mistake done by the software not me. I don't know how to fix it.

I have added 3 videos: in the following order -> *.mp4, *.mov, *.mp4

The first two videos run normally. But the last video showing as 360 degrees enabled. I didn't enable 360 degrees view.

How can I fix the above issues?

Really I was completely frustrated with this software. Because, If we made any mistakes, ok. If the software does it as malware like splitting clips and displaying what it wants randomly, what can we do?

What export settings did you use? Looking at your exported videos with dark squares, this looks like the type of thing that can happen if your video bitrate is set too low.

Can you check the bitrate of the exported video by right clicking on it and pressing Properties?

Your highlighted clip on track four, which presumably contains text, will be keyed into the video on track one, or completely obscure track one if the text doesn't have a transparent background.  Higher-numbered tracks override lower #s.

The text clip could just have well been placed on track two.

Animation can be applied to a clip of any duration.  The scope of the animation in a clip is determined by how the animation is configured.  Click the ? at the top-right of the Videopad screen and scroll down to ANIMATING VIDEO EFFECTS item.

The links you supplied most recently (for Jimmie) are dead.

Yes. I have reset the start time as 0:0:000 instead of earlier time as 1:52:0. Now it displayed correctly. Also moved the stopwatch Clip to Video track2 just above the Video track1 as you said. I have to export and see the result and update you.

few more issue is there.

If you'd like someone to check this out, please share the project. Here's how...

1.  Save your project.  Then, with it on the timeline, click the FILE menu. SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS to any convenient folder.

2.  Open the folder that contains the saved files and ZIP them all.

3.  Upload the zip file to DropBox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive or the like.  It's free.

4.  Make the uploaded file public (share it) and copy the shared link.

5.  Paste the link into this forum.
