Guest tbone
I am currently using the trial version of VRS for recording inbound and outbound calls. I have turned on both the hum filter and the low freq filter. Why does the VRS record a very short 2 second call every thirty minutes? I did notice that the software defaults to deleting all call less than the dafault 5 sec call which works fine and removes them. I played many of these 2 second calls and it sounds like the software takes the phone off-hook every thirty minutes and then puts the phone on-hook. If this is what is happening, how can I prevent it? I am using the radio shack interface into the line-in on my sound card. I also have an aopen tapi compliant voice modem (FX-56PCI). Is there a better way to configure my set up? please advise. thanks tbone

This is probably some electronics on your phone line causing 'noise' which triggers VRS recording. Simply use the auto-delete feature.
