moods
I am an IVM newbie. Happy so far with the system although it isn't working. I am not able to get the system to transfer a call or hang up the line. I have created this video that demonstrates the issue. http://screencast.com/t/3BjOfZ7yjpa Any help is appreciatated. NOTE: I am a Platinum support customer yet have NEVER received the phone number to call or quick response to my support ticket that I submit. Is this typical for NCH? Thank you, Gary p.s. More data. I am using AT&T in the USA. I need to implement THREE-WAY CALLING. Here is the blurb on AT&T regarding this function. To Add A Third Person To Your Call 1. Press receive button once. 2. Wait for three short tones. Dial the number of the third person. 3. Wait for an answer. Then press receiver button once to bring the first person back for the three-way call. 4. If the third person doesn't answer or if the line is busy, press receiver button twice to stop the ringing or busy signal. This will connect you to the first person. To Drop The Third Person · Press receiver button once. The third person is disconnected.
B-Rad
NOTE: I am a Platinum support customer yet have NEVER received the phone number to call or quick response to my support ticket that I submit. Is this typical for NCH? Unfortunately it seems to be so. I recently made a purchase, and also selected the Platinum support. I was charged for 4 of them (~232.00 US), and all of my inquiries have gone unanswered! - I have not got back one response from their support. So anyone else considering NCH's support beware, it doesn't seem to help at all. Now, as for this: I am not able to get the system to transfer a call or hang up the line. Your video (which is a great idea, BTW), doesn't specify your hardware setup. I am using VoIP service through www.affordable-communication-services.com, and using the IVM in conjunction with Axon. When a caller calls in, and presses 3 they are transfered out without incident. If you are using voice cards, it could be a driver issue.
moods
Your video (which is a great idea, BTW), doesn't specify your hardware setup. Thank you for the compliment on the video. I am addicted to creating these videos. Thank you JING PROJECT. Anyway, I am sorry I didn't make my hardware configuration clearer. I tried to specify in the header or title. Here are the details. IVM 4.08 SHT-4b/USB 5.0.0.0 4 dedicated analog phone lines, 3 configured for transfer via THREE-WAY CALLING feature; 1 is going to be a dedicated incoming fax. Thank you again for any help. NCH has been pitiful on the support side. But, we are repeating ourselves. Sorry. Just makes me feel better to write it.
