recording audio from 'studio playlist'

I am a complete novice but have managed to get studio playlist to work in real time - like a radio station studio - ie to start music tracks, jingles etc & bring in a microphone to 'DJ' the whole thing

 

I now need to record the audio generated in real time by studio playlist - using wave pad - so I can then burn it to CD

 

I can only find audio inputs for wave pad for external devices

 

How do I record what I am hearing in real time??

for your specified sound recording device, you need to set the sound recording channel to something like "Wave Out Mix" or "Stereo Out Mix" or something like that - the name changes from sound device to sound device. That will allow you to record what you are hearing.
