Guest Rich Tolley Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 I am converting G711 A Law files to mp3. The process works fine, but...... I need to play the switched mp3 file using the Macromedia Flash Player. The files play back at the wrong rate. I have contacted Macromedia and have discovered that the sample rate must be divisible by 11. So.... 11025 22050 44100 are what I need. I have searched everywhere for a conversion utility that can handle 64khz vox file conversion. Do you have any suggestions..? Would you include these sample rates in the next build..? If so, could you indicate a time frame. Best Regards Rich Tolley
nchtj Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Hi, First convert your 64kHz vox files to PCM .wav format. This will allow you to convert to whatever sample rate you like (after selecting .wav format in the Switch window, click the "Encoder Settings" button to set the configuration). Next, convert the .wav files to .mp3 format.
