Can I load files edited in Wavepad onto Express Scribe to transcribe?

Hiya!

I'm considering purchasing Wave Pad to use to clean up some audio files I need to transcribe in Express Scribe (the tools in Express Scribe aren't making the audio any clearer).

But I'm wondering if I will be able to load a file saved in Wave Pad back into Express Scribe? i.e. does Wave Pad save the audio in the same file format as it was originally?
