Exported video is GREEN

I got my project finished, it looks and plays fine - but when I save it as an .mp4 or .mpg file, the color of the video changes to weird shades of GREEN.

I'm saving at 1280x720, letterbox fit, and I've tried various frame rates - variable ( 14.9 - 29.9) for YouTube 720p, also 25fps for Custom, and NOTHING seems to work. The video comes out looking like you're viewing it through a green fish tank!  WTH is going on???

Also confirm that the video drivers and Direct-X are up to date...

Something else to try...

Go to OPTIONS/ADVANCED and in the GPU section at the bottom change "default" to "NONE (CPU only)."

Then restart Video pad.

Share your project.  Someone will take a look and come up with a fix.  The process is easy, quick and can be done privately.  Just follow these steps...

  •     Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left.  Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
  •     Upload ---  Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER.    Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file.
  •     Get link --- Get a public link.  Right-click the file and click SHARE. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"
  •     Share ---     Click COPY LINK | DONE.  Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me.  It won't be shared.

          *    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

This will let us see what you see.  That's the best way to track down issues.
