screen frozen

I went into the file options and checked off the MP3 box, my screen has sort of frozen up and is acting very weird, double images and that kind of thing. It won't exit, won't do anything. I have Vista and am using the newly downloaded 4.16.

This is very strange indeed and the problem likely doesn't originate from unticking that particular box. Do you have any other programs open which handle mp3 files? If you untick it, try and hit okay and then force quit the program, does it remain unticked when you next open Express Scribe?
