VPtester
Videopad Professional ver 16.08 + Windows 10 The first time I have needed to use this function and it does not work. Right clicking on a 46 second video clip to choose Stabilize video, the Deshaker option box shows up, pressing OK, a Stabilizing video box flashes up and immediately an Error box appears "Stabilization process failed. I have tried various settings in the Deshaker options to no avail. Pressing the Advanced button in Deshaker does not work either. My guess is the Deshaker is too old to work with newer versions of videopad. Additional information that may help other people: I did manage to stabilize the clip using a couple of free on-line services which produced an acceptable output. I also fired up my Linux pc with Kdenlive (a video editor I am not that keen on), using the default settings in Kdenlive to stabilize the clip produced a very good output which I will now use. borate
Version 16.08 has issues For now, use this release, a 64-bit version where the stabilizer works normally. Or try the 32-bit Beta.
