Converting files by date

I have only recently started using this program. I have jpeg and png files with random names that I convert to avif. I would like to keep the order of their sorting by date. But when I add a folder with files to the program, they are sorted alphabetically and when I convert them, the creation date changes to the current one. 
Is it possible to save the creation date of the original file? I would really like to see this feature in the program!

After converting the file, only the latest date will be automatically saved. However, if you need to make any changes to the Metadata later, you can utilize PhotoPad Photo Editor. Simply upload the file, go to the Menu, select Tools, and then choose Edit Metadata. In this section, you will be able to set various information, such as the Date and Time, as per your requirements.
