Can't edit audio effects for the clips

Hello,

In my recent project I can't edit audio effects anymore for the video clips. All the times I click on FX button for the audio track or try to use Audio Effects button I get error:

---------------------------
Clip Is Being Processed
---------------------------
Can't edit effects while clip is being processed.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Although all the clips in the project already processed. This appears only in one particular project. Please let me know what should I check in this project settings?

P.S. Also I would like to mention: recently upgraded from 6.10 to 13.75 and must say that the quality of the app got worse. Application is much slower now and more often freezes. Almost always the app hangs on opening another project while project is opened (Cancelling queued processes window displayed and app is not responding).

Sorry to mention that, but hope you will improve it.

Try this beta release.

If files are large or very hi-def it can take time to complete audio processing.  Under the audio tab the progress is often shown.

If your troublesome project is five GB or less please share it, and someone will check it out.

The process is easy, quick and can be done privately.  Just follow these steps...

  •     Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left.  Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
  •     Upload ---  Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER.    Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file.
  •     Get link --- Get a public link.  Right-click the file and click SHARE. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"
  •     Share ---     Click COPY LINK | DONE.  Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me.  It won't be shared.

          *    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
