ftp download of mp3 files

I am trying to download mp3 files from a remote server using the "Load Now" function with the appropriate settings for incoming files in Express Scribe 4.1 in Windows XP. When I click "Load Now", it will display the "Loading" icon, and show a percentage of progress in the bottom right corner of the screen. When it reaches 100%, nothing happens. No files load. I know that it is contacting and logging into the FTP server properly because it leaves administrative files of some sort on the server after each login. What am I doing wrong?

 

Also, as a note to ES programmers/developers: for ES future features, the ftp download of incoming files should be expanded from the four formats that are listed to allow for other formats (i.e. WMA).

i am having the same sort of problem, but i think it is because, as you mentioned, it is not allowing wma formats to be downloaded and that is what the doctor is using. is there any information on the expansion of this to include wma formats? i hope you find your answer.

 

t
