Videopad Version differences / upgrading.

Where can I find the release notes for versions of Videopad? I bought the Master Version 11.20 just 12 months ago, now it is at version 13.67, where can I find the differences to decide if it is worth me paying an additional us$60 for the latest release?

Secondly, I have the 32 bit installed (was that the default version?) I have a 64 bit laptop so Can I get the 64 bit version of 11.20 and reinstall using my existing licence key?

thanks in advance.

The release notes won't be very enlightening.  Assuming you're running Windows, install the latest (64-bit) to check out during the trial period.

For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

Look here for the latest 64-bit release that falls within your licensing period, or install the 11.22 (64) version.  Ignore any virus warnings.

  Your license should be good.

Many thanks for such a speedy reply @borate

Could you please clarify my understanding that if I take a backup of the Program Files (x86)\NCH Software folder, that is all I need to restore to go back to my original licensed version? (if the new install wont take my licence key)?

Also if I install a trial of 13.67 just restore that folder to get back to my licensed release.

Thanks.

No need to back up.  Just run the installer for any version.  Those that are within the six-month post licensing window should be automatically registered.

11.20 (64) isn't listed at the Old Versions site, but 11.22 64-bit is - for Windows.  Use the link above to download it.
