Audio issues

So, my files keep exporting with distorted audio. I finished editing a project and then exported it. The audio I recorded with my phone works fine but any other audio, like from clips and such, sounds bad. I tried exporting it with the AVI format but it only worked once for another video I did. I'm not sure if it's something to do with the timeline. 

This has happened several times now with several different videos.

I find that if I come back to a project I spent a few days on that it gets all messed up.

What Videopad version is being used?  Try this one.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

Try opening OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files, then load a project.  This is a good idea prior to beginning a new project.

If the issue persists, come back here for more suggestions.

I tried the version you suggested and cleared the caches. One or both worked. Thank you so much. I'll make sure the clear my unused cashe files in the future.
