Audio on Video pad drops out ???

I'm editing videos on videopad, they are music MP3s along with a photo. I successfully do about 12 videos. I've got like two left and when I import the music files, they play fine, until about 1/2 through the song, then silence. The waveforms are visible although near the very end, the waveform turns into a solid chunky line. I've cleared out my cache, rebooted, etc. Any ideas? Thank you
